This summer, I will be taking a fashion marketing course at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. In the summer of 2025, I studied the Psychology of Art with the University of Central Florida in Barcelona, Spain.

During my fashion marketing program in Milan, I will be immersed in a seminar-based learning environment led by industry professionals, where I will explore the intersection of marketing, design, and merchandising. The curriculum emphasizes real-world application through brand analysis, trend research, and the development of marketing strategies tailored specifically to the fashion industry. I will gain hands-on experience by visiting showrooms and retail spaces, allowing me to observe how brands operate within global fashion capitals.
The program also focuses on understanding evolving consumer trends and the impact of social phenomena on the fashion industry, which will enhance my ability to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies accordingly. I will study key areas such as fashion communication, retail systems, distribution channels, and visual merchandising, learning how to create compelling campaigns, optimize retail experiences, and drive sales through strategic presentation.
I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where I enrolled in The Psychology of Art. While the course initially seemed unrelated to my marketing major, I quickly discovered strong connections between psychology, art, and marketing. Throughout the program, I explored how visual elements such as color, composition, and design influence human emotions and perception. I learned how these artistic principles can subconsciously guide decision-making, which directly applies to consumer behavior, branding strategies, and advertising effectiveness.
This experience also strengthened my ability to think creatively and strategically at the same time. I gained insight into how marketers can use visual storytelling to build emotional connections with consumers, reinforce brand identity, and influence purchasing decisions. Beyond the classroom, being immersed in a new cultural environment enhanced my adaptability, communication skills, and global perspective. Overall, studying abroad not only expanded my academic knowledge but also helped me grow into a more confident, culturally aware, and innovative thinker, better prepared for a career in advertising and promotions.
