In college, I have been heavily involved with the American Marketing Association and Nexus at UCF.

The American Marketing Association at UCF

My time with the American Marketing Association at UCF has been a defining part of my growth as a marketing professional. I began as a general member in August 2024 and I quickly immersed myself in the organization’s collaborative and fast-paced environment.

As a member of the Executive Board on the Marketing Committee, I took on a more active role in shaping the chapter’s brand presence. I created visually compelling graphics and promotional materials using Canva, helping to strengthen brand awareness across platforms. Collaborating closely with other team members, I contributed to the development of creative marketing strategies that aligned with organizational goals and resonated with our target audience. This experience not only sharpened my technical and creative skills but also reinforced the importance of adaptability and collaboration in achieving successful marketing outcomes.

Now serving as Vice President of Marketing, I lead the organization’s overall marketing strategy and execution. I manage all social media platforms, send out our bi-weekly newsletter, and create graphics/assets for our events. In this leadership role, I have recruited, trained, and mentored a team, equipping members with skills in content strategy and tools like Canva, Notion, and Mailchimp. One of the most impactful highlights of my experience was attending the AMA International Collegiate Conference in Chicago. This opportunity allowed me to expand my marketing knowledge, compete in design and digital marketing competitions, and gain valuable insights from guest speakers. Overall, my journey with AMA UCF has been instrumental in shaping my leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and passion for pursuing a career in marketing.

Nexus at UCF is a premier business podcast featuring in-depth conversations with industry pioneers, scholars, and leaders to explore business trends, strategies, and innovation. My experience as Marketing Director at Nexus at UCF has been a transformative opportunity to build and lead a marketing function from the ground up. As the first person to hold this role, I established the organization’s entire marketing infrastructure, laying the foundation for long-term growth and brand consistency. From developing the initial strategy to defining the brand identity and content pipeline, I played a key role in shaping how Nexus connects with and engages its audience.

In this role, I founded and led the marketing committee, guiding a team to execute a cohesive and data-driven strategy. I designed and launched the podcast’s official landing page, creating a central hub to drive traffic, inform listeners, and connect audiences to social media platforms. Additionally, I produced and distributed a wide range of multimedia marketing assets—including infographics, video content, and promotional graphics—tailored for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn. By implementing a biweekly content calendar and utilizing scheduling tools, I ensured the consistent delivery of over 10 pieces of content across multiple channels.

Nexus at UCF

I developed a brand book for Nexus, outlining our approved colors, images, and logos, as well as the appropriate use of them. I also described our organizations' tone of voice and approved typography for copywriting purposes.
I collaborated cross-functionally with strategy, production, and executive teams allowing me to ensure that all marketing efforts were aligned with episode themes and broader organizational goals.
